Electric Quill Editing cares about the environment and for this reason we are commited to providing a digital service for all of our editing packages. This allows us to maximise all of the editing tools at our disposal and to focus on the most important thing: the writing. No postage, no fuss. This also means that we can offer our services around the world so that nobody is left behind.

Be assured that your work will not be used to feed an AI model which increasingly places your livelihood at risk. Our editing is done by people, for people: we do not use AI to edit in any way. Your work will remain entirely your own.

Once you have contacted us, we will arrange a quick appointment via Teams to gather some information about your project and to discuss next steps -- this what we call the Terms. This allows us to gather essential information so that our editing process is streamlined and efficient. You will then provide us with your material in Word format (or PDF for basic proofreading only) via email or other platforms and we will begin to work on your project. Depending on the size of the project, we aim to provide you with the completed edit within 21 working days.** Please let us know if you have any important dates to consider, however,  and we will try our very best to accommodate.

Please also be aware that, although we offer editing services for some small businesses, we are not a legal body and have no legal training. We therefore do not accept legal projects, or texts which require specialised legal training. We also reserve the right to refuse any material which is illegal or which we deem to be inflammatory.

**This excludes any projects in the Creative package; the turnaround for which will vary depending on the nature of the project. All timescales will be finalised during your initial consultation.
